The “On Call” Doctor
One doctor is “on call” every day. This doctor will have fewer appointments that day so that he/she can deal with urgent matters and give advice.
Appointments with doctors and nurses are routinely 15 minutes long, if you feel you need longer please request a double appointment.
If you wish to have a chaperone present, please mention this when making your appointment.
You are entitled to seek a second opinion from another GP within the practice.
7 Day Working
We can now offer pre-bookable appointments 6pm – 8pm Monday – Friday and 8am – 8pm Saturday and Sunday.
This service is provided on behalf of the practice by Taurus Healthcare Limited and is based at South Wye Medical Centre (next to Asda): this includes GP, practice nurse and health care assistant appointments.
